Reena Senior Living Center hosted a fish fry on Friday, May 21st to support Badgerland After School Enrichment Program (BASE). The drive thru event served over 450 meals in 2 hours!

Reena recently presented BASE Executive Director and members of BASE a check for $2,600. “We appreciate Reena donating the proceeds from their fish fry to BASE. With their support, we will be able to support kids & families this summer during our wrap around program at Purdy Elementary School ” said Alicia Norris, BASE Executive Director

BASE offers critical out of school time programs. Currently BASE is accepting applications for the full day summer program. Summer hours are 7:30am-5:30pm starting June 9th-August 20th. BASE also offers after school programs during the school year from 3-6pm in the four public elementary schools. BASE is also open on early release days and select no school days. BASE relies on donations from the community to keep the program accessible to all youth.
